Litter Registrations

RULES GOVERNING LITTER REGISTRATION REVISED WITH EFFECT 1ST JANUARY 2023

Effective 1st July 2020, litter inspection will be conducted randomly. Breeders and owners are responsible for each registration submitted. Litter inspection shall be conducted at one point of time and only only location.
Pedigree Certificates can only be issued to a litter of dogs whose parents (dam and sire) are registered with SKC.
The Pedigree Certificate can be transferred from the breeder to the owner’s name by bringing the Pedigree Certificate down to the SKC Office for a transfer of ownership. The respective parties are required to accept and sign the transfer on the space provided at the back of the Pedigree Certificate.
It is compulsory that anyone applying for litter or single registration must be a member of the Club.
Owners of stud dogs must also be members of the Club.
All breeders intending to breed must first apply for a PREFIX/AFFIX (i.e. Kennel Name). *A breeder having a registered prefix/affix with the Singapore Kennel Club should include the kennel name when submitting his/her registration.
Every care must be taken to ensure that the entries in the litter registration form are correct.
Registration form(s) must be duly filled up and signed (front and back). Forms that are submitted in JPG format must be sharp and clear in full A4 size. Incomplete form(s) will not be processed.
The Governing Council may cancel the name of the dog from the register if, after registration, the Governing Council is satisfied that the dog is not in fact pure-bred.
The Governing Council may defer or refuse registration of a litter or any dog if they are found to be of ill health or if the conditions under which they are kept are not satisfactory.
The completed forms should be forwarded to the Executive Director, The Singapore Kennel Club together with the necessary fees within 120 days of whelping of the litter.
Fees are as follows (revised w.e.f 1 January 2023):-

REGISTRATION FEE - $40.00 per puppy

POSTAGE - $ 3.00 per registration (by registered mail)

PROCESSING FEE - $50.00 per litter (Regardless number of puppies whelped)

*A SURCHARGE OF ADDITIONAL $50.00 WILL BE IMPOSED ON LATE REPORT OF LITTER. (i.e. $40.00 + $50.00=$90.00).
